Privacy policy

This policy explains how FreshCut Hyderabad ("FreshCut", "we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you use freshcuthyd.shop, the FreshCut app and our delivery service. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, mobile number and (optionally) email.
• Delivery details: addresses, landmarks, pincode and delivery notes.
• Orders: your plans, delivery dates, skips and pauses, and payments recorded by our riders.
• Waitlist: your mobile number and pincode if you ask to be told when we launch in your area.
• Technical data: a login token kept on your device, and basic server logs (IP address, browser type) used for security.

We do not collect card or bank details. Payments today are cash or UPI to the rider. If we add online payments (for example UPI AutoPay through Razorpay), the payment provider will process your payment details under its own policy.

How we use it

• To log you in with a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS.
• To pack and deliver your boxes and contact you about deliveries.
• To keep records of plans and payments.
• To tell you when we launch in your area, if you asked us to.
• To improve our service. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with people and services that help us deliver: our delivery riders (name, phone, address, delivery notes), our SMS/OTP provider, and our hosting provider. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

While your account is active, and for up to 3 years after your last order for accounting and legal purposes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner (where the law allows).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by messaging us on WhatsApp or emailing us. You can edit your name, email and addresses yourself in the app.

Security

Data is stored on secured servers, admin access is password-protected, and riders only see what they need for the day's deliveries.

Children

Accounts are for adults. Kids Box orders are placed by a parent or guardian.
